People’s Defense Forces (HPG) announced that 4 soldiers were killed during guerilla actions in Bingöl and Hakkari.

HPG Media Center stated that guerillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers at the Suveren outpost in Bingöl’s Genç district on July 16, and 1 soldier was killed during the action.

3 SOLDIERS KILLED DURING ACTION TO COMMEMORATE JULY 14 MARTYRS

HPG guerillas carried out an infiltration action against the soldiers at Geniş hill in Hakkari’s Şemdinli district, and 3 soldiers were killed during the action that commemorated the martyrs of the Great Hunger Strike of July 14.

RESULTS OF THE ACTION IN NAZIMİYE WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON

The Media Center stated that guerillas carried out a car bomb action against the Kıl outpost in Dersim’s Nazımiye district on July 15, and the results of the action would soon be announced.

WARPLANES BOMBARDED BESTA

HPG announced that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Geliyê Hêzil region of Besta in the afternoon of July 15.

OPERATIONS IN VAN AND MARDİN

Lastly, HPG announced that the Turkish army ended its operation in the Çatak, Bahçesaray and Gevaş districts of Van on July 15, and the operation in Mardin and Derik that began on July 14 continues.
