HPG: 4 soldiers were killed in Xakurke

At least four soldiers were killed in a coordinated guerrilla attack on Turkish army positions in Xakurke.

The guerrillas destroyed two positions of the Turkish occupation forces in the Xakurke region of southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq). According to the press centre of the People's Defense Forces (HPG), the guerrilla action on Tuesday targeted the Turkish forces deployed on Hill Şehîd Axîn as part of the Bazên Zagrosê offensive. The guerrillas proceeded with two attack groups and their effective strikes left at least four soldiers dead.

HPG also reported that on 20 December, the Kafya area in Gare and the Kunîşka area in the Zap region were bombed by fighter jets. On 18 December, an airstrike targeted the Beşîlî area in Metîna. The guerrillas did not suffer any casualties in any of the attacks.
