In its daily statement about the ongoing attacks of the Turkish state, People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) reported actions by guerrillas in Amed and Mardin in response to the atrocity committed by state forces against the Kurdish people.

6 SOLDIERS KILLED IN NUSAYBİN

HPG reported that YJA-Star (Free Women's Troops) conducted a sabotage action against a military vehicle between the villages of Kertwên and Arbet in Mardin's Nusaybin district. The action at 16:00 on 6 December left the vehicle completely destroyed, while 6 soldiers among those hospitalized died later, according to reports received by HPG side.

4 POLICE KILLED IN AMED

HPG said another action by guerrillas targeted an armored police vehicle in Bismil district of Amed at 00:00 on 12 December. Four policemen in the vehicle were killed as a result of clashes that followed the action which was carried out in response to the attacks of AKP's special forces against Kurdish people, and in memory of the civilians martyred in Sur, Nusaybin and other areas in the recent period.

THREE CIVILIANS WOUNDED IN ATTACKS BY TURKISH FORCES

Recalling that the Turkish army operation in the area between Midyat, Ömerli and Nusaybin districts of Mardin is going on since 8 December, HPG said a Cobra type helicopter of the Turkish army shelled a civilian car near Çalê village of Nusaybin on 9 December, which left 3 civilians wounded.

BOMBARDMENT AGAINST GUERRILLA AREAS FROM BORDER OUTPOSTS

HPG-BIM provided the following details regarding the ongoing bombardments conducted from border outposts against guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory;

Eriş outpost near the border to Zap shelled Hill Xeregol between 13.30 – 14.30 yesterday.

Hill Sor outpost near the border to Metina shelled Martyr Şoreş and Martyr Mazlum hills between 12.00 – 13.00 yesterday.

Turkish aircraft performed reconnaissance flights over Garê area between 21.00 – 23.30, and over Metina area between 22.00 - 23.00 yesterday.

HPG-BIM also reported an activity of Turkish warplanes over Zap region between 11.00 - 11.30 yesterday.
