As part of the “Martyr Çekdar Mahir Serbest Revolutionary Initiative,” HPG guerillas carried out an action against the Suveren outpost in Bingöl’s Genç district at 18:00 on September 10 from four different directions.

HPG Media Center stated that the guerillas hit the watchtower of the outpost effectively, and 4 soldiers were killed and 2 others were injured during the action. A tank and an A-4 heavy weapon were also hit, and 2 more soldiers were killed during the action.

CLASHES IN ÇUKURCA

HPG stated that guerillas ran into soldiers near the Karataş outpost of Hakkari’s Çukurca district and clashes broke out at 11:15 on September 9. The numbers of dead and injured soldiers have not yet been clarified, and the guerillas reached their base safely.

ACTION AGAINST SOLDIERS IN ŞIRNAK WITH HEAVY WEAPONRY

Guerillas carried out an action with heavy weaponry against the soldiers at the Kêlik region of Şırnak’s Uludere district on September 9, and forced the soldiers to retreat.

SABOTAGE ACTION AGAINST THE GAS AND OIL PIPELINES IN MURADİYE

HPG guerillas carried out a sabotage action against the gas and oil pipelines in Van’s Muradiye district at 23:30 on September 9, and detonated the pipelines.

TURKISH ARMY BOMBARDS HERKİ REGION

HPG Media Center announced that Turkish warplanes bombarded the Herki region of Hakkari’s Şemzinan district between 20:00 and 22:00 on September 9, and Turkish soldiers shelled the area around Hêrvız outpost at 15:00 on the same day.

Turkish soldiers are also laying ambushes in the Uzuntarla, Pakali, Gömemiş, Kozmerik, Govê, Merxo and Velikan areas of Dersim.

SABOTAGE ACTION AGAINST SPECIAL OPERATIONS POLICE OFFICERS IN DERSİM

HPG stated that guerillas carried out a sabotage action against the special operations police officers near the Çakmaklı region of Dersim’s Hozat district at 15:00 on September 9, and an armored vehicle was completely destroyed during the action. Soldiers carried out an operation in the site of the guerilla action at 09:00 on September 10, and 2 armored vehicles were damaged and 10 soldiers were killed during the guerillas’ response action at 17:00. The guerilla actions in Dersim were carried out to commemorate martyrs Baran and Roza and to object to the intensified isolation of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
