The HPG Press Centre has released a statement detailing the operations carried out by Kurdish guerrillas within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign in Çele and Gever.

Here is the full statement:

"Our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army soldiers positioned on Deştanê valley in Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district on August 22 at 4.30 am.

One soldier was killed in the action.

On the same day, at 7.50 am, our forces carried out an action against a unit of the invading Turkish army positioned on Elişêr hill in Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district.

The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified in the action."
