HPG commander Jiyanda: Guerrillas destroy the enemy's hopes

"The resistance of the guerrilla is destroying the hopes of the enemy," said HPG commander Özgür Jiyanda who added that the Turkish state was fighting a technology war.

HPG commander Özgür Jiyanda espoke to ANF about the Turkish state's invasion attacks, special war concept and the resistance of Heftanin.

Emphasizing that the Turkish state is using all tools and sophisticated technologies in the ongoing war in Kurdistan, Jiyanda said: "With this war, the government is suppressing the capacity of the society to know the truth. The losses that the Turkish state has suffered are not reflected in the mainstream media which are giving unreal figures. On the contrary, the invading Turkish state has suffered enormous losses in the invasion operation it launched in Heftanin.”

Commander Jiyanda added: “The situation of the occupying forces in Heftanin is not what they are presenting. Because of the guerrilla's resistance and actions, they could not even lift their heads from their positions. They are the target of our forces everywhere.”

Pointing out that the Turkish state waged a technology-based war, Jiyanda ended his speech with the following words: "The guerrillas shock the enemy with their modern, creative and expert style. It destroyed all the hopes of the enemy. We can say that the guerrilla resistance carried out in Heftanin will end all invasions and end the occupation.

The Kurdish people should not be affected by the special war policy. The Turkish state uses village guards and contras in its attacks. These people should not participate in the operations, otherwise the Kurdish union is weakening. We do not want to target them, but this must be known: Those who play a role in the martyrdom of our friends will be punished. Our people in South Kurdistan are patriots. They resisted many times on these mountains. Our people should take a tough and resistance stance. Our people should not leave their villages and should stand by the guerrilla in the face of this occupation."
