According to the Press Office of the People's Defense Forces (HPG), Turkish fighter jets bombed the Gundê Şêlazê area in the southern Kurdish region of Metîna 13 times on November 8 and 9.
HPG denied Turkish media reports that four guerrilla fighters were killed in the attacks. According to the HPG, this report is not true and the guerrillas did not suffer any casualties in the air strikes.
In its statement published on Saturday, HPG said that on November 11, the Turkish army carried out artillery attacks on the Gundê Dêşîşe and Koordîne areas. Helicopter movements were observed over the Avaşîn region on November 9 and 12.
