HPG: Eleven Turkish soldiers killed in guerrilla actions

"The Turkish army is committing war crimes and is trying to stop the process of its defeat by all means," said the HPG on the state of the Turkish military operation in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan.

According to the People's Defence Forces (HPG), eleven soldiers of the Turkish invading forces were killed and three others injured in guerrilla actions in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

"The freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan turn every place into a fighting area against the occupation attacks of the colonialist Turkish army and put up the most magnificent resistance in history. Although our forces have very limited means against the Turkish army equipped with modern NATO technology, they are dealing heavy blows to the occupiers with Apoist spirit and great courage. The Turkish occupation forces cannot stop our forces and are committing war crimes in front of the world public to achieve results. The fact that the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla are resisting in a dignified way until their last breath, despite the massive use of chemical weapons and banned bombs, has thwarted the plans of the fascist Turkish state and led to a great stagnation. In order to overcome this stagnation, false reports of victory are used to try to deceive the public. The Turkish army is committing war crimes and trying to stop the process of its defeat by all means. Our forces are fighting on the Apoist self-sacrifice line and are determined to win," said the statement released by HPG Press Centre on Sunday.

According to the HPG statement, the Turkish army used banned bombs five times and chemical weapons six times against guerrilla positions on Saturday. In addition, the HPG reported four attacks by fighter jets, 42 attacks by attack helicopters and dozens of attacks with howitzers, mortars, tanks and heavy weapons.

The HPG gave the following details regarding the latest guerrilla actions and Turkish attacks:
