HPG guerrilla Mirxas Beytuşebab denied the claim of the Turkish state officials that he and some of his comrades were "killed" by the Turkish army.
Guerrilla Nevzad Durmuş, nom de guerre Mirxas Beytuşebab, responded to the Turkish state's allegation that a group of guerrillas including him were killed.
The HPG guerrilla said that he was born into a patriotic family in 1986 and that he has been carrying out his activities in South Kurdistan (North Iraq) for the last few years.
Mirxas Beytuşebab stated that a genocidal war has been waged by the Turkish state in Heftanîn, Metîna, Zap and Avaşîn. “As they are not getting any results, the Turkish army has introduced a psychological war against our people and our families.”
The HPG guerrilla said that the Turkish intelligence service MIT claimed a few days ago that he and some of his comrades were killed. "This is not real. They seek to deceive our people through psychological warfare,” he remarked.
“We are alive and continuing our activities in our own field. We will never leave our positions and will continue our struggle,” he added.
The HPG guerrilla emphasized that they would prevent the Turkish army from entering their lands. “Our patriotic people should never be deceived by their lies. They should stand up to them. It is time for freedom. In particular, the young people from Botan and Beytuşebab should never be an instrument to the enemy.”
The guerrilla fighter urged some Kurdish people working for the Turkish state to stop it. He underlined that he and his fellow fighters would continue to fight until Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan and the Kurdish people are freed.
