Turkey launched an occupation operation against Xakurkê (Bradost) but met with the resistance of HPG guerrillas who targeted the hills where the Turkish soldiers were deployed.
In particular on Wednesday night, as local sources confirmed, Lelikan, Şehit Botan and Şehit Şahan hills were targeted by the HPG guerrillas.
The same local sources said that the Turkish army suffered heavy casualties, and that wounded soldiers were removed by helicopter.
On the night of 28 May Şafif mountain, the area around Lolan River and Martyr Derviş Hill were bombed for several hours by Turkish warplanes and helicopters.
