The guerrillas detonated the explosive trap mounted on the 15 ton rock by the upper part of the village road as the convoy was passing at around 21:00 last night. One military vehicle was trapped under the rock while guerrillas hit the other military vehicles in the convoy with missile launchers and long barrelled weapons. 

The road was closed for traffic until late into the night while local sources claim there were at least 20 soldiers dead and many others wounded. 

ACTIONS IN ÇARÇELA AND ZAP

Meanwhile, the HPG guerrillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers in Çarçela mountains.

The guerrillas also carried out actions on soldiers in the Zap area. HPG Press Office hasn’t issued a statement on the details of the action yet.
