HPG Press Office released a detailed statement providing information about the ongoing operations and attacks by Turkish army in Northern Kurdistan, and ongoing actions by guerrillas.
Describing the savagery of the Turkish state, HPG stated that AKP was a structure that perpetrated massacres unprecedented since 1938, razed Kurdish cities and towns to the ground, perpetrated an unrestrained political genocide in Kurdistan through the appointment of trustees, trampled on the people's will and targeted the leader and all values of Kurdistan people continuously.
“Apart from these, the AKP is a government that bases its politics on racism, genocide and enmity against Kurds, which also targets those outside of Turkey. No Kurdish and democrat citizen should stand by or behind the massacres committed by the AKP in Kurdistan. No Kurd that hasn't betrayed its own reality should take place within this party. Taking part in this genocidal policy of the AKP means committing a crime against Kurdistan. No honorable person and Kurdish citizen should remain silent on this cruel policy pursued by the AKP in Kurdistan.”
HPG continued, detailing the most recent actions carried out by guerrillas in Northern Kurdistan.
