HPG releases identity of three guerrillas fallen in Gabar

The HPG have announced the death of three of their members. The guerrilla commander Silav Koçer and the fighters Fedakar Hêlîn and Egîd Nîzîp died in December 2022 while resisting the Turkish army in the Gabar region.

Guerrillas Silav Koçer, Fedakar Hêlîn and Egîd Nîzîp died in December 2022 while resisting the Turkish army in the Gabar region in North Kurdistan.

The press center of the People's Defense Forces (HPG) said in a statement: “Silav Koçer, regional commander of the Gabar region, as well as Fedakar Hêlîn and Egîd Nîzîp represented the militancy of the PKK until the very end, when they joined the caravan of the martyrs in an operation. They are irreplaceable friends who have joined the ranks of the heroes of the epic resistance in Botan, the heart of our guerrilla struggle initiated by the legendary commander Egîd (Mahsum Korkmaz). We express our condolences to the relatives of those who died and to the patriotic public of Kurdistan.”
