The Press Office of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) released a statement providing information about the latest attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army in the guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

According to the HPG statement on Thursday, Turkish fighter jets carried out 24 attacks on guerrilla areas on 8th, 9th and 10th of April. These included 8 strikes on the areas of Gûzê, Girê, Deşta Kafya in Garê region, 11 strikes on the areas of Şêlazê, Dergelê, Bêşîlî, Bazê, Banka in Metîna region, 1 strike on the Şehîd Îbrahîm area in Zap region and 4 strikes on the areas of Xinêrêya Jor, Kolît, Kendekola areas in Xakurkê region.
