HPG reports intensified Turkish air strikes on guerrilla areas

HPG Press Centre (HPG-BIM) reported that the Turkish army has recently carried out numerous air strikes to no avail.

“Even though the invading Turkish army has recently conducted large-scale military operations with the participation of thousands of soldiers, it cannot get results against our forces,” HPG-BİM said in a written statement on Monday.

“The Turkish troops who have received heavy blows as a result of the actions carried out by our forces employing professional guerrilla warfare tactics have resorted to extensive air strikes,” HPG-BIM stated.

HPG-BIM noted that the guerrilla forces did not suffer any casualties and gave the following details:

“– On December 22, at 18:00, the Golka area of ​​the Metîna region was bombed by Turkish fighter jets.

– On December 22, between 16:10 and 16:40, the vicinity of the Lolan River in the Xakurkê region was bombed by Turkish fighter jets.

– On December 22 and 24, the Werxelê area of ​​Avaşîn was bombed by Turkish fighter jets.

– On December 23 and 26, the areas of Çemço, Kunîşka, Kela Bedewê, Girê Şehîd Sîmko and Karker in the Zap region were bombed by Turkish fighter jets.”
