HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement providing information regarding the recent operations launched by the Turkish military in the countryside of Amed province.

In the statement, HPG said Turkish military forces launched an operation in Martyr Remzi and Martyr Ferhat areas in Amed's Lice district on January 7. The operation was retreated without yielding results on January 10.

On the other hand, -HPG said- the operation started by Turkish army in Apê Musa area of Lice on January 12, continues.

HPG added that Turkish troops started another operation in Xaçek and Şirgirik areas of Dicle district on from January 5th to 7th.
