People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) has released a statement about the ongoing actions of guerrillas and attacks of Turkish military.

ZAGROS

According to the HPG statement, guerrillas conducted an action with heavy weaponry targeting the Turkish soldiers operating in Sümbül area in Zagros region of Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory. The results of the action, which was carried out at 15:00 on June 19, couldn't be verified.

HAKKARİ

At 11:00 on June 19, guerrillas carried out an assassination action against the soldiers in Çeperê Şêxa hamlet on the border of Hakkari's Çukurca district, which left 1 soldier dead.

Another action by guerrillas at 16:30 on June 17 targeted a Turkish outpost on Şapatan hill in Hakkari's Şemzinan district. While one emplacement in the outpost was destroyed, the casualties, the number of whom couldn't be clarified, were removed from the scene with two ambulances. Turkish forces shelled the area with howitzer and mortar fire after the guerrilla action.

DERSİM

At 02:00 on June 19, YJA-Star guerrillas hit and destroyed three base stations (of Turkcell, Vodafone and Avea) in Sağlamtaş, Dereboyu and Kabadal villages of Dersim's Pülümür district.

A sabotage action by guerrillas targeted the Halbori outpost in Dersim at 08:30 on June 19, as a result of which 1 soldier died. Guerrillas also hit the outpost with weapons.

AMED

Turkish warplanes bombarded the Martyr Serxwebun, Martyr Remzi and Martyr Ferhat areas in Amed's Lice district between 11.00 - 12.00 on June 18.
