HPG Press Office issued a written statement on recent guerrilla actions and Turkish army operations.

According to the statement, guerrillas carried out an action with heavy weaponry targeting the soldiers at Êriş outpost who shelled Ertuş region in Hakkari’s Çukurca district at 09:20 on October 2, as a result of which 1 soldier was killed and another was injured.

Guerrillas carried out an artillery action targeting the soldiers on Ronahi hill and Martyr Gafur hill in Hakkari’s Şemzinan and Oremar districts, respectively, between 13:00 and 16:00 on October 1. The number of dead and injured soldiers couldn't be clarified.

Turkish army ended its operation in the Mergêzerê region of Hakkari’s Yüksekova district and withdrew from the area on October 1.

HPG also announced that Turkish soldiers bombarded the Katuna and Meleyan villages of Hakkari’s Şemzinan district at 06:00 on October 3 with Cobra helicopters, and airdropped soldiers in the area with Sikorsky helicopters.

Lastly, HPG stated that guerrillas Azad and Dılsoz fell as martyrs in Siirt on September 30 and guerrillas Şervan and Demhat fell as martyrs during the clashes in Mergêzerê, Hakkari on September 25 and 26.
