HPG reports ongoing Turkish airstrikes on Medya Defense Zones
HPG reported continued airstrikes by Turkish aircraft on guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.
HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office released a statement reporting continued airstrikes by Turkish aircraft on guerrilla-held Medya Defense Zones in South Kurdistan territory.
The statement said that Turkish jets bombed the following areas in Medya Defense Zones on January 10, yesterday evening;
- Xeregol area and surroundings of Sida village in Zap region at between 19.30 – 20.00,
- Mervanos hamlet in Avashin area at between 19.00 – 21.00,
- Slopes of Hill Karker in Xakurkê at between 20.00 – 22.00.
