HPG (People's Defense Forces) Press Office reported continued air strikes by Turkish military against the PKK-held Medya Defense Zones.

Accordingly, Turkish jets shelled the Gostê hill, Ranya Pirê territory, and the surroundings of Lelikan, Xelifan, Aleka, Jerezat and Korasere villages on May 18.

HPG reported that Gostê hill and Ranya Pirê territory in Xakurke area of Medya Defense Zones were bombed by Turkish aircraft between 14:30 – 15:00 yesterday.

Turkish air strikes furthermore targeted;

- Lelikan area and surroundings of Xelifan, Aleka, Jerezat and Korasere villages between 16.20 – 16.30,

- Kure Mızgeftê area between 19.00 – 19.30,

- Hill Sor hamlet of Avashin area between 19.00 – 20.00 yesterday,

- Foothills of the Mamreşo Hill between 11.00 – 12.00 today noon.
