HPG reports Turkish airstrikes on Qandil and Avashin
The occupant Turkish state continues its genocidal attacks against the Kurdish people in several parts of Kurdistan territory.
The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) released a statement providing information about the occupant Turkish state’s continued attacks against southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.
The statement said the following:
“On November 19, between 13.00 and 13.30, warplanes of the invading Turkish army indiscriminately bombed the area around Silê Village of the Qandil region in the Medya Defense Zones. As a result of the bombardment, material damage occurred on the vineyards and gardens of the locals.
On the same day, between 12.20 and 13.30, the warplanes bombed the Dola Şivê area of the Avashin region. As a result of the bombardment, our comrades Siyabend and Fırat fell as the martyr. The ID information of our martyrs will be shared with the public later on.”
