People's Defense Forces Press Office (HPG-BIM) reported in a written statement that the Turkish army has started an operation in Mardin, while the one in Dersim continues.

3 GUERRILLAS MARTYRED IN MARDİN

HPG stated that Turkish military launched an operation in the area between Midyat, Ömerli and Nusaybin districts of Mardin on 8 December.

Clashes erupted in Xırbê Sor village of Nusaybin and around Hill Bölük on 9 December, as a result of which 3 guerrillas were martyred while the casualties on the side of the Turkish army couldn't be verified.

OPERATION IN DERSİM

HPG reported that the operation of the Turkish army in Aliboğazı area of Dersim's Hozat district continues since 9 December, noting that Turkish troops have conducted mortar attacks in the area.
