HPG: Three Turkish soldiers killed in Hakkari and Xakurke

Guerrillas continue inflicting blows on the occupant Turkish army in Kurdistan territory.

The Press Office of People’s Defense Forces (HPG) stated that guerrillas carried out actions against the Turkish army as part of the ‘Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign’.

According to the HPG statement, one Turkish soldier was assassinated in the area of Deriye Pan in Şemdinli district of Hakkari at 11:30 on June 4.

Another soldier of the Turkish army was assassinated on Hill Martyr Axin in Xakurke region of Medya Defense Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq) at 13:00 on June 7.

In another action, guerrillas targeted a Turkish military unit stationed in the area of Hill Ser Zêr in Çukurca district of Hakkari. One soldier was killed here.

HPG also reported continued air raids by the Turkish army in Medya Defense Zones. Accordingly, Turkish jets shelled Hill Cehennem in Zap region at 17:00 on June 8.

The statement added that guerrillas suffered no casualties in these bombardments.
