The HPG-BIM said in a written statement that, “On September 12, the Turkish army launched a large-scale invasion operation after bombing the Şehîd Bahoz area in Gabar region of Şırnak with fighter jets and attack helicopters.”
“The Turkish troops withdrew without results on September 16. The fires that broke out in the area as a result of the bombings during the operation continue to rage,” the statement added.
The statement continued:
“On September 27, between 22:30 and 00:00, Turkish helicopter activity took place over the Qaşura line in the Metîna region. The vicinity of the villages of Deşîşê and Seararû in the countryside of Amadiya district, as well as the Koordîne and Qela Qûmriyê areas were bombed by attack helicopters. On the same day, between 11:10 and 14:00, the village of Şêlazê was bombed 5 times by fighter jets. Following the bombings, the houses, farms and gardens of the civilian population were damaged.
– On September 27, between 22:50 and 00:30, Turkish helicopter activity took place over the areas of Girê Sor, Girê Spî, Mervanos, Tabûra Ereba and Banista in Avaşîn region. During the same hours, the Geliyê Basya and Girê Şehîd Revenge areas were bombed by attack helicopters.
– On September 27, between 23:00 and 00:00, the Şamkê area in the Zap region was bombed by attack helicopters.
– On September 27, at 19:20 and 19:30, the village of Girê in Amadiya countryside was bombed by fighter jets.
