HPG-YJA Star guerrillas spoke about the International Conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan that led to his capture on 15 February 1999 and the ongoing isolation in Imrali.

Pointing out that the Turkish state and the forces involved in the conspiracy are deepening the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Öcalan day by day, HPG guerrilla Aslan Qıbesin said: "Although Leader Öcalan is physically a prisoner, he is a leader who has gained freedom with his philosophy, ideology and ideas. As militants of Leader Öcalan, we will continue to fight in the mountains of Kurdistan and expel our enemies from the lands of Kurdistan. We will continue to fight until we break the isolation imposed on our leader."

25 years ago, a major conspiracy was organized against Leader Apo [Abdullah Öcalan] by the hegemonic powers, the Turkish state and international states. This conspiracy has been continuing since 1999. As a result of it, Leader Apo was captured. Exactly 25 years have passed since this conspiracy. However, leader Apo is always among the people and the guerrillas with his ideas and thoughts. The people and the guerrillas march on this basis. We will make this year a year in which we will achieve success and the physical freedom of our Leader.

This is our call to the Turkish state: In the war carried on for the last 3 years, the Turkish state and nation states have been carrying out intense attacks with all kinds of technologies against Rojava, Bakur, Başur, Rojhılat and guerrilla areas. They are brutally attacking guerrilla areas with the support of all nation states. One of the reasons for these attacks is the blows Turkey suffered during guerrilla actions. The enemy lost his fighting strength due to the heavy blows he received from the guerrillas. As the isolation of the leadership continues, the guerrillas' operations continue. The worse the isolation imposed on the leadership becomes, the greater the blows the Turkish state will suffer."

The aims of the hegemon powers failed

HPG guerrilla Hejar Karox said about the 15 February International Conspiracy and isolation: "The biggest purpose of this conspiracy was to neutralize Leader Apo, isolate him from the people, end the PKK movement, and destroy the free Kurds. But today it is clearly seen that the struggle of the PKK movement and the struggle of the patriotic Kurdish people has grown even further, and Leader Apo's ideas and philosophy have spread all over the world and become universal. In particular, the support for the Leadership has increased in many parts of the world. Socialists, democrats and academics support Leader Apo and have begun to see him as their own Leader. Unable to accept all this, the hegemonic and conspiratorial powers intensified the isolation imposed on Leader Apo. Leader Apo frustrated the conspiratorial forces with his will, way of thinking and great struggle.

The struggle in the mountains of Kurdistan is a historical struggle. It is a historical resistance. We are determined and assertive on these principles. We will definitely break and defeat this enemy this year. The lands and mountains of Kurdistan will be their graves. We will achieve Leader Apo's physical freedom and the freedom of Kurdistan on the 25th anniversary of the conspiracy."
