Led by Êzidî women and Shengal People's Assembly, people in Shengal started a human shield action on 20 March demanding the withdrawal of KDP forces from the Êzidî land. The protest continues with the participation of representatives of institutions and organisations in Shengal.

Hundreds from Dirbêsiyê city of Rojava went to Shengal today to support the protest, and they were welcomed with slogans “Long Live Shengal Resistance” and “Death to Betrayal”.

People from Dirbêsiyê will join the human shield action alongside Shengal people.
