Hunger strike in Maxmur on day 91

As the hunger strike against the isolation continues in Maxmur on day 91, the 31st group took over the protest. Ishtar Assembly Member Fadile Tok’s indefinite non-alternating hunger strike is on day 56.

The hunger strike in the Martyr Rustem Cudi (Maxmur) Refugee Camp protesting the isolation imposed upon PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan continues on day 91.

The 31st group took over the indefinite alternating hunger strike following a press statement today in Maxmur.

Ishtar Assembly Member Fadile Tok has been on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike since January 20, and continues on the 56th day today.

Hesin Demir gave a speech in the name of the 30th group and said they salute the activists in the hunger strikes launched by Leyla Guven which spread throughout the world. Demir added that the hunger strikes against the isolation will continue until the end and added that there should be more support for the protests.

The 31st group took over the hunger strike, chanting “Biji Serok Apo” [Long Live Leader Öcalan] and “Kesek Nikare Roja Me tari bike” [Nobody can darken our Sun].
