The hunger strike in Maxmur protesting the isolation is on day 70. Fadile Tok, on an indefinite non-alternating hunger strike, said: “We will continue our struggle to the end.”
The hunger strike held in the Martyr Rustem Cudi (Maxmur) Refugee Camp against the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan is on day 70. The 24th group has taken over the hunger strike.
“PROTESTS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL RESULTS ARE ACHIEVED”
Maxmur Ishtar Assembly Member Fadile Tok said the hunger strikes led by Leyla Guven spread throughout several areas very quickly and added: “We will continue our struggle until the end.”
Dr. Medya spoke in the name of the 23rd group and said, “The resistances in all four parts of Kurdistan are very important. The protests will continue until results are achieved.”
