Human Rights Association (IHD) Vice Co-President and Diyarbakır Branch Chair Raci Bilici has been taken into custody as result of a police raid on his house early Wednesday morning.

Several people were reportedly detained in Amed this morning as part of the government's ongoing political genocide operations against the Kurdish people and their representatives.

Turkish daily Yeni Akit had targeted Bilici on February 25, reporting that “The PKK member that labelled the state 'murderer' has been given back to duty”.
