HDP deputies have documented the atrocity committed by Turkish state forces in Xerabê Bava and Talatê villages of Mardin's Nusaybin district.
A delegation from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) has made inspections in Xerabê Bava and Talatê villages of Mardin's Nusaybin district after the removal of the continued siege.
The curfew and siege continued in Xerabê Bava (Koruköy) for 19 days and in Talatê village for 9 days.
HDP Batman MP Mehmet Ali Aslan from the delegation stated that: "These two villages are in the same situation with what was seen in Cizre and Nusaybin after the curfews. Barns and houses have been destroyed completely. Houses are riddled with numerous bullets that remain in houses and on streets."
TRACES OF ATROCITY
Aslan said they have seen 7-8 houses burned down during the siege, adding: "In the barns there are coprses of poisoned animals. Pregnant animals were disemboweled and fetuses were taken out. We saw corpses of numerous animals in parts."
As to what the villagers have been through during the siege, Aslan said: "Soldiers made girls of 13-14 age cook for them. Children are terrified and villagers are filled with apprehension. They still abstain from speaking."
Aslan added that historical structures in the village have also been demolished.
