Footage of HPG guerrillas’ infiltration of two positions in Küçük Cilo (Cîloya Piçûk), in the region of Zap, was broadcast on Guerîla TV.

The HPG Press Center shared the following information about the action: “As part of the Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign in Zap, on 9 December, our guerrilla teams targeted 2 positions belonging to the invaders in Cîloyê Biçûk, by using infiltration and raid tactics. When our forces infiltrated into the enemy positions, they understood that the invading Turkish army, which panicked as a result of the effective actions developed in the Zap region, emptied its positions and escaped. Our forces quickly determined the location of a group of the occupying forces in the field and planned a new action in that area.

Based on this planning, our teams targeted the invaders from two sides at 11:40 am. The first arm shot a tent containing the invaders at close range with individual weapons. At least 3 invaders were killed here. The second arm killed 2 invaders. The remaining invaders dispersed in panic. Our professional mobile guerrilla teams successfully completed this action without any casualties. The reports of the Turkish special war media that there were guerrilla casualties in Zap are completely unfounded and false.

At least 5 invaders were punished as a result of this successful and coordinated action in which the new era guerrilla tactics were used.”
