Turkish military and police forces continue attacking the neighborhoods protected by Civilian Defense Units YPS and YPS-Jin in Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari which witnesses a mobilization by state forces despite there being no curfew in effect.

Turkish forces deployed on İpekyolu (Silk Road) Street are shelling the neighborhoods of Esentepe and Esenyurt with heavy artillery since earlier this morning. Turkish troops are making an effort to enter the neighborhoods with armored vehicles and diggers. The entry and exit points of the district have also been blocked by state forces with armored vehicles.

The Kurdish town remains under a virtual curfew amid sounds of arms and blasts.
