The Iraqi army has dispatched new military equipment to Kurdish neighborhoods in Tuz Khurmatu.
According to ROJ News, the Iraqi army stockpiled a new military force they call the Urgent Response (“Rid Elsire”) along with tanks and armored vehicles in the Kurdish neighborhoods of the Tuz Khurmatu district of the Selahaddin province.
PUK Hemrin Branch administrator Hasan Baram spoke about the matter and said: “The new military force dispatched to the district has created worries in the people. There has been no explanation yet as to why this force came in.”
Baram also stated that this military force took position in the Rizgari and Kumar neighborhoods where Kurds live.
