ISIS attacks Maxmur Refugee Camp

Clashes erupted after the security forces in the camp responded to the attack.

ISIS mercenaries have attacked the Şehid Rüstem Cudi Refugee Camp in Maxmur, southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq.

The attack Sunday afternoon faced response from the Self Defense Forces maintaining the security of the camp.

According to reports from the ground, self-defense forces noticed the mercenaries in advance and encircled them.

The ISIS group remained surrounded at 16:00 local time.
