Jaysh Al-Thuwar (Army of Revolutionaries) General Command released a written statement reporting that ISIS gangs attacked the positions of Jaysh Al-Thuwar forces in Um Al-Qura and Um Al-Hosh villages in Shehba region last night. Jaysh Al-Thuwar fighters retaliated against the attacks which were carried out with heavy weapons and clashes that erupted upon their response continue in some areas.

On the other hand, gang groups attempted to enter the Al-Hasiya village at around 01:00 last night but they faced resistance from Jaysh Al-Thuwar forces who destroyed a bomb-laden vehicle of the gangs before it reached the target.

Gang groups later bombed the villages of Um Al-Qura and Um Al-Hosh with mortars in addition to attempting at another bomb attack with a motorbike which was similarly thwarted.

The statement added that all the attacks of the gang groups have been broken while sporadic clashes continue.
