Journalist Nujiyan Erhan severely wounded as result of a targeted attack
It has been learned that journalist Nujiyan Erhan got wounded as result of a targeted attack while covering the fighting in Shengal.
Free press member Nujiyan Erhan and a cameraman accompanying her have rushed to Shengal to cover the fighting that erupted after KDP-affiliated groups started to attack Xanesor and Sinune towns of Shengal in the early hours of the morning. The two press members were subjected to a targeted attack
According to reports, Nujiyan Erhan and the cameraman got wounded as result of targeted attack by the so-called 'Rojava Peshmergas' while reporting the clashes in an area between Sinune and Xanesor.
Nujiyan Erhan is reported to be critically wounded, while the cameraman is in good medical condition.
