Hasan Kaçar and his family were expelled from Hewlêr by the KDP public order. The family continues to demand their rights in front of the United Nations representation office in Sulaymaniyah.

Hasan Kaçar and his family were summoned to the KDP public order forces after being told that they would be given a residence permit. Instead, they were expelled from the Hewlêr. They were not even given the time to take their children's clothes with them.

Hasan Kaçar had to go to Sulaymaniyah after waiting until late last night at the Hewlêr - Sulaymaniyah border.

Hasan Kaçar made a press statement in front of the UN representation in Sulaymaniyah with his family this morning and demanded that the UN fulfil its responsibility and take a stand against the injustice done to him.

The Kaçar Family wants to return to Hewlêr under UN assurance.
