European Kurdish Democratic Societies Congress (KCD-E) has issued an urgent call to Kurds living in Europe to pour out into the streets in protest at the massacre of 60 people by Turkish forces in Şırnak's Cizre district.
A statement by the Co-Presidency of KCD-E underlined that the Turkish colonialism has once again massacred the Kurdish people in the body of Cizre. Remarking that AKP fascism has committed an explicit war crime before the eyes of all international institutions and public opinion, KCD-E said; “Reports from Cizre say that 60 wounded people trapped in a basement were executed with chemicals. This mass execution is reported by the AKP media in great joy and a manner of victory. AKP fascism has committed a massacre in Cizre by resorting to immoral and unlawful ways in response to the determined resistance of our people. Remaining silence means accomplice to this massacre.”
KCD-E called upon the Kurdish people living across Europe to take to the streets and stage democratic protests with the spirit of resistance in Cizre and Sur.
