Speaking to the ANF on behalf of the KCK Foreign Relations Committee, Roni Serdem said that even AKP supporters do not believe the lie spread by the occupying Turkish state.

Emphasizing that a new war front was opened in the Caucasian front with the encouragement, preparation and plan of the Turkish state, Serdem said: “The first party and initiator of this war is neither the Armenian people nor the Azeri people. What is called the Azerbaijan-Armenia war is, in essence, the war of the Turkish state. It is part of Turkey’s neo-Ottomanism project. The situation will be understood better when it is taken into consideration that the maps AKP administrators previously served also cover this area.”

Emphasizing that the Turkish state exports wars to many regions of the Middle East, North Africa and the Caucasus, and that this war is waged by many powers, including mercenaries, Serdem said: “The whole world condones the massacre of the peoples carried out by these mercenary groups, which serve the Turkish state, its supporter and protector. Agencies and newspapers around the world wrote in detail and with evidence that the fascist Turkish state brought thousands of mercenaries from Syria to Azerbaijan to start and wage this war. They published interviews with many mercenaries sent to this war by the Turkish state. The Turkish state, whose dirty plan has been exposed, is now spreading false news against our movement.”

Serdem added: “The Turkish Republic, first spread the news that PKK guerrillas had gone to Armenia through social media belonging to its trolls. As they could not be convincing about this issue, it was the state and the government that told this lie officially. The discourse by which ‘there are PKK and Kurds’ in every territory Turkey wants to occupy and wage war actually exposes the great lie and at the same time the level of hostility reached towards Kurds.”

This propaganda, said Serdem “is also a special war policy. In essence, the fascist AKP-MHP regime wants to deepen the hostility towards the peoples, and especially the Kurdish people, by spreading this false news about our movement involvement in the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflicts. This also escalates conflicts and tensions between peoples.

The Turkish state has carried out genocides through history and today, targeting Kurdish, Armenian, Greek, Assyrian-Syriac people, with this racist and fascist policy. It always described the peoples as enemies and attacked them. Especially in recent years, the AKP-MHP fascist mentality, which has caused an international crisis almost every month, has now plagued the peoples of the world.”

Serdem ended his remarks by saying: “It is now time to get rid of this Turkish regime, which has a position and practice that leads war everywhere, creates instability and occupies. It is time to get rid of this fascist and war-loving Turkish regime. It is time to overthrow the AKP-MHP fascist regime. It is time to say ‘stop’ and end the provocation and occupation carried out by the Turkish state. We call on all peoples and forces of democracy to take an open stance against the provocation of war, nationalist, racist attitudes and policies.”
