KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency stated that the war of the AKP government in Kurdistan reached unprecedented levels as state forces shell civilian areas and commit numerous war crimes. KCK commemorated the victims of Cizre massacre which it said was the savage revenge operation of the Turkish state’s genocidal mentality. 'KURDISH PEOPLE WILL BRING THE PERPETRATORS OF THIS MASSACRE TO JUSTICE'

'THIS GOVERNMENT WILL FALL'
KCK pointed out that the AKP government brought its own end with the bombing of civilians in Kurdish towns, and could not govern a country where different peoples live together after the grave war crimes it has committed. KCK noted that either the government will implement its war policies targeting Kurds, or people who want Turkey to democratize will struggle and resist in order to put an end to current AKP policies. KCK stated that AKP had no political future if its insists on creating unity through violence, and Kurdish people accompanied by democracy forces in Turkey would defeat AKP policies, democratize the country, and solve the Kurdish issue.
'DEMOCRACY FORCES SHOULD RISE UP ALL ACROSS TURKEY'
KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency called upon all peoples and democracy forces in Turkey to realize that the ongoing war targets them as well as Kurdish people, and to resist in solidarity against AKP policies. KCK noted that silence today would mean encouraging fascism and genocide, and invited democracy forces to rise up all across Turkey, especially in metropolitan areas.
KCK Co-Presidency said that the AKP government was showing enmity towards Kurdish people as it gave them two options; either to give up on their demands for democracy and freedom or to face policies of death and massacre. The statement recalled that the AKP decision for an all-out war and genocide was made in the summer of 2014 and put into practice in 2015.
'KURDISH PEOPLE SHOULD INCREASE THE LEVEL OF RESISTANCE EVERYWHERE'
KCK called upon Kurdish people to resist the attacks of the AKP government aiming to crush the Kurdish people’s freedom struggle. The statement recalled recent statements of AKP officials suggesting that Turkey would not repeat the mistakes of South Kurdistan when it comes to Rojava, and highlighted the connection between AKP’s enmity towards Rojava and North Kurdistan. KCK emphasized the AKP government’s enmity towards Rojava, and said that AKP was trying to avenge the losses it and its ally ISIS suffered at the hands of the resistance in Rojava.
'POLICY TOWARDS IMRALI IS A POLICY OF GENOCIDE'
KCK also recalled the 18th year anniversary of the international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, and said that the heavy isolation and oppression of Öcalan was the ground zero of current genocidal policies.
Kurdistan Communities Union called upon Kurdish people to rise up against the isolation of Öcalan and the ongoing perpetration of genocide in order to upset AKP’s plans of creating consent and silence through brute force and violence.
Lastly, KCK stated that the torture and massacre of wounded civilians in Cizre was aiming to break the will of Kurdish people, and called upon everyone to increase the level of resistance against the reactionary and genocidal mentality of AKP.
