KCK called upon peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey and all democracy forces to resist the savage attacks of AKP fascism and take the struggle against this fascism to the streets.
KCK Executive Council Co-Presidency recalled that the soldiers and police officers of AKP fascism bombard and destroy Kurdish cities, and defy international laws with its savagery. KCK noted that despite their cruelty and resources, state forces suffered heavy losses against resistance fighters in Nusaybin and Şırnak, and began use chemical weapons and target women, children, elderly and other civilians. KCK pointed out the irony of organizing a UN Humanitarian Summit in Turkey in the midst of all these genocidal attacks, and stated that the UN and many European and other world powers are complicit in the AKP’s crimes against humanity.
In its statement, KCK described Tayyip Erdoğan as the chief of AKP fascism, and said that his description of the current time period as “the better days of the Kurdish movement” shows that Erdoğan’s savagery has no boundaries. KCK noted that AKP fascism and its allies would commit more crimes against humanity in the face of peoples’ silence, and called upon peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey and all democracy forces to resist the savage attacks of AKP fascism and take the struggle against this fascism to the streets.
‘THE WORLD SHOULD STOP WATCHING THIS DIRTY WAR AND START TO CARRY OUT ITS RESPONSIBILITY’
KCK emphasized that human rights associations, the UN, and democracy forces in Europe and other parts of the world watch the dirty war in North Kurdistan as if it was a war of gladiators in a Roman arena, and called upon these circles to stop watching this dirty war and start to carry out their moral, humane and historical responsibilities.
