KDP Asayish forces banned a seminar on the February 15 conspiracy against Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan that was going to be held at the 'Politics and Democratic Thought Academy' in Hewler yesterday. Asayish forces cited their superiors' orders for their raid and obstruction of the meeting.

Academy administrator Şükrullah Heme Emin spoke to ANF on the obstruction and said "The stance of KDP

Asayish on the conspiracy, which targeted the freedom of Kurdish people,is incomprehensible. Our academy is not obligated to get permission for such seminars. The ban and the obstruction are arbitrary."

Emin emphasized that the KDP's approach harms national unity, condemned the obstruction, and added that Asayish forces also confiscated the cameras in the seminar hall.
