KDP forces set up military checkpoints between Kirkuk and Makhmur
KDP forces are increasing their military activities in South Kurdistan in preparation for a battle against the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
Local sources told ANF that KDP forces have set up several checkpoints on the road between Makhmur and Kirkuk's Dubız district since early Saturday morning.
According to sources, the checkpoints are being set up with the intention of blocking people's access to Makhmur area against a battle in the event of a probable KDP attack on Makhmur.
