According to reports by local sources, a convoy of troops affiliated to the Turkish military left the Bashiqa camp 10 days after the controversial deployment, and crossed into South Kurdistan at around 23:00 last night.
A part of the troops moving in 50 armored vehicles has been dispatched to the Turkish military base in Duhok's Bamernê area.
KHABUR BORDER CROSSING CLOSED
In the meantime, Turkish soldiers have closed the Khabur border crossing at 14:00 local time this afternoon. Authorities haven't made any statement regarding the blocking of the border gate yet.
