Masses remain in front of Amed Municipality despite the ongoing attack by police forces that surrounded the municipality building with armored vehicles and water cannons last night when the municipality was raided after the detention of both co-mayors, Gültan Kışanak and Fırat Anlı.

The police attack with water cannons continue in front of the municipality, on Ali Emiri Street and the road leading to Dağkapı Square.

Amid the ongoing attack, police have detained a group of people who include Free Women's Congress (Kongreya Jinên Azad, KJA) Spokeswoman Ayla Akat Ata.
