Turkish warplanes bombarded the Kortek region of Qandil last night. The bust of Martyr Solin, who was killed during Turkey’s bombardment of Kortek in 2011, was destroyed during the attack.

Roads and power lines were destroyed during the bombardment that came after reconnaissance planes scouted the area yesterday. Many villages were left without electricity after the destruction of power lines in the region.
