The removal of the traffic warning signs "Hêdî (Slowly)" and "Pêşî Peya (Pedestrian First)" at pedestrian crossings in Kurdish cities following the instruction of the Turkish Ministry of Interior continues unabated.
Following an order by the Turkish Interior Ministry, Kurdish warnings on pedestrian crossings were also targeted in the Cizre district of Şırnak.
"Pêşî Peya (Pedestrian first)" signs on Orhan Doğan Street were erased on Friday.
According to reports, DEM Party municipality will replace the erased signs with new ones.
