Kurdish women's delegation from North Kurdistan visits Women High Council in South Kurdistan

The Kurdish women's delegation, which went to South Kurdistan from North Kurdistan, visited the Women's High Council. The emphasis on joint struggle came to the fore during the visit.

The United Kurdish Women's Platform delegation, which went from North Kurdistan to South Kurdistan, visited the Women's High Council and were welcomed by Dr. Xanzad Ahmed. During the visit, the role of women and women's struggle in North Kurdistan was discussed.

Common struggle

During the visit views were exchanged on women's labor and struggle. "A struggle without women will not succeed. For this, women's labor and leadership must continue in all four parts of Kurdistan.” The role of women in life and their place in the national struggle of the Kurdish people were also discussed.

HDP Şirnex MP Nuran İmir, said: "We want to lay the foundations of women's unity in the four parts of Kurdistan. If this happens, we will be able to speak Kurdish. For this reason, it is very important for freedom to have a women's union."

The General Official of the Women's High Council, Dr. Xanzad Ahmed, on the other hand, stated that the leadership of women in North Kurdistan is important for the unity of Kurdish women.

The women's delegation then visited the Kurdistan Communist Party.
