MAK claims responsibility for sabotage action on the oil pipeline in Amed

The Kurdistan Freedom Militia (MAK) said that they carried out a sabotage action on the oil pipeline in Hezro district of Amed.

The Kurdistan Freedom Militia (Milîsên Azadiya Kurdistan - MAK) said in a statement: "The oil pipeline of the fascist and occupying state was exploded with a sabotage technique in İnce Kavak District, Hazro district of Amed, on the evening of 30 March, around 21:15."

MAK said: "As a result of the information we received from local sources, it was determined that hundreds of barrels of oil were destroyed, causing a strong explosion and impact in the surrounding area. Our units successfully left the action area."

The statement continued: "The state, which carried out another plunder in Bakurê Kurdistan using the Turkish Petroleum Corporation TPAO, uses the money it obtained from this in the war against the Freedom guerrilla and our people."

Stating that "everything that feeds fascism is their target," MAK said: "With this action, we are warning the state that has been carrying out an operation in the Amed region for the last week to leave our mountains, otherwise our mountains will become your graves."
