34-year-old Ali Tetik who was shot by special operation police and got heavily wounded on 27 December, has died.

Tetik lost his life at a hospital in Batman province where he had been receiving treatment since. Tetik was married and had three children.

A total of 31 civilians have been killed by state forces since the beginning of the most recent curfew in the town.
